Default skill or no skill?

there is this kid that i know in my school that thinks ATV's are stupid, and that it takes no skill to ride one, that the atv does all the work. i keep telling him that he is wrong, but he won't listen to me so can you explain what it takes to race one.

Sad to say, but he has a point, he is ignorant none the less, but partly correct. It is alot easier to ride a quad than a bike (which is what he is comparing it to I am sure?), but it is very hard to ride a quad fast. Almost anyone will put their mom/sister on their bad a$$ quad and have them putt around the field or whatever, Can you put your mom on a CR250 and do the same thing? NO.
I am not defending him, I ride dirt bikes and quads, I ride quads more because it is easier and I crash less, so go figure.

LOL,

Hey 66oDisturbed don't tell him that because what most people see in print they tend to believe and now we might see kid murdered by large jumping rock that had skill.

Bring him to my place! I'll let him ride the raptor around the track...we'll video tape so when it bucks him and drives over him we can make a quick buck with MAX-TV
As for skill...bikes constantly remind you about your ability levels, quads build it up and hurt you bad for a long lasting reminder...
