I finnally got my blaster running but the throttle cable was not connected in the throttle assembly......well when i got it connected put it back together it wouldnt run.......i double checked what i did but i dont know whats wrong.... i would smell gas when i turned the gas on and it would leak from the bottom of the carb through the bottom tube....HELLLLLLLLLLLPPPPPPPPPPP!!!!!!! what can i do????

 

clean out the carb. and check the floats to see if they are set right. mine has done that before so i just stared it and kept it idling high to use the gas and it ran fine... it might help if you say exactly what you did just my opinion

 

all i did was hooked the throttle cable to the accelerator part on top of the carb then it wouldnt run again .....ill tr that and any more advice would be greatly appreciated

 

by accelorator do you mean that big piece of crap on top of the carb. i am getting mine removed on tuesday i will tell you how it works out. o and when you start it push the throttle in about 1/4 inch and it might work.

i think its 'throttle open return system' or some stuff like that. SAFETY CRAP. only thing i can think of is its flooded. pull the plug, kick it thru half a dozen times, put the plug back in. gotta solve that flooding problem on the bowl too. shouldnt be peein out the overflow tube, sumthin is holding the needle open, usually crap outta the carb. twist the carb over pop the bowl and see whats up.
its gonna be sumthin simple.

i've ha your problem of fuel jus poring out the bottom tube, in my case it was like the others said, and there was a tiny piece of dirt holding the needle open in the carb try takin it apart and making sure theres no objects blocking anything in the carb.
