the newer ones with push button 4wd are nice. but they don't have low range. they are also kinda slow 45mph-50mph. drum brakes in the back suck too. the motor is bulletproof but is a little noisy. i think for $5100 they are a good deal. it all depends on what you want.

I've driven the 2001 BB. It was a great ATV with a really nice shifting transmission. I'm sure that the 03's are the same way. I figure that with the 2-4wd option it would be alot of fun. Drum brakes are fine as long as they are sealed. I had no complaints on this atv. Its a great atv with a great history/reliability.

I recently purchased an 03 Big Bear 2wd and it is a rock. Top speed is a little low but on trails you do not notice it. Super low first gear will climb or pull anything!

I have an 02 bigbear 1st year the 2wd to 4wd option came out on them. I love it for what i do and the speed is fine if your not a speed freak. Low gearing is good for pulling or climbing. Over all its a good bike in my opinion.
