OT BUT Funny . GO to the link i posted above and watch the Raptor VS DS up the hill race. In the first race the DS and Raptor are going at it with the DS slightly edging the Raptor when out of nowhere a modded Banshee flies past them both just destroying them. Damm 2 strokes!!!!! lol

 

Ridley, you are entitled to your opinion, but it is just an opinion. Funny they made the Suzuki for 2 years longer than the others. If they really were crap I dont think they would have been produced that long. A quadzilla rides good, handles good, and can be made to flat out fly. Money for money the 4-chokes cant hang. danyeod - If you read my post I was implying I wasnt impressed with it for a 9000 (or however much they cost) quad. If you bought a used rappy for 5700 and put 3300 into it, it would absolutley destroy a cannible for the same price you bought yours for stock. With my mods I beat a cannible (sorry i said speed before) with moto 4 mapping and big gun pipe on the flats, so to sum it up no I wasnt impressed with the cannondale. I think they should be faster than they are for 9000 dollars even though you pay for the aluminum frame, ohlins and a race ready quad (not just the motor) for that price.
PS - yes i have watched the c-dale video on choke cherry and yes that did impress me.

Wildchild660r. I bought my Cannibal for 4500 brand new, thats because of all the chapter 11 talk and dealers wanted to clear inventory for tax purposes. The Cannibal normally cost 7000, only 500 more than a Raptor. With your mods how much did you spend total? The Big Gun exhaust isn't really the best for the Cannibal, most people go with the HMF. A stock Cannibal makes 37-39hp, with your mods you should have more than that on your Raptor but you paid for it. A Moto cost upwards of 9000-10000 and it is setup for the track and on the track it contends with the modded r's. You would have to spend a lot of money on your Rap to make it beat a Moto on the track. Straight line power and the potential to get more from a Raptor are really good but i can't stand they way a Raptor feels, too tall and narrow and they vibrate a bunch, just my opinion from a few rides on them. But aren't those videos cool over at Wyoduners site? That choke Cherry is cool and there ARE other videos of Raptors making it up that hill, i guess a lot has to do with the rider. Watch how far the 400ex gets on that hill, pretty funny. I ould love to throw some paddles on and try that beast. Sorry to stray off the topic thread.

I sure hope i have more than 37-39 HP now, id be pissed if thats all it had if stock is around 35. I know I would get destoyed by a cannondale on the track but i would never race it on the track because their to tall and narrow for that and yes you would have to put a lot of money into a-arms,suspension, axle etc. to make it race ready. Where are the other videos of raptors making it up choke cherry besides wyoduners website or is there any?
