it's on the end of the choke cable. you can sneak in there and unscrew the cable, it's kindofa tight fit, but the spring and the plunger should come out on the end of the cable.

I removed the choke cable from the left carb. Corrision is prevelant but the spring is good. Before I did that I rode my Raptor for about ten minutes with no problems brought in the garage and put it in neutral and revved the engine and the problem came back. The engine almost sounds like when you hit the rev limiter. Any moe ideas??

I found the problem. I took off the left top slide cover (black with two screws). What I found inside was that the little white plug with the small spring underneath was wrapped around the large sping. The weird thing about that is the white plug was still in place but that one of the washers down by the c-click as not around the needle pin it was jammed sideways. I still do not know how the little sping could have bypassed the white plug and found it wrapped around the large spring.

Thanks for all of your replys. My rappy is running like a champ.

That is the needle and there should be a larger copper washer on top and a small silver washer on the bottom. My plunger also came out and I am now missing one of the washers and I have a pretty good idea where it's at. I hope you have yours.
