maybe banshee sales are sucking pretty bad, thats why they are advertising the "new and improved" 500. Which in all reality is probably going to be just as slow. But might have better potential after being modified

 

Hey Wild Web, you musta been talking to Russ, eh? They floated that one at me tonight after work (500 Banshee) and it was the last thing I expected. Admittedly it was still third hand info. Yamaha does have the R1 engine available. Just add reverse and no vaseline....VIOLA.....first year owners take the brunt. I could hear the Yami engineers chatting now...."me tinks thats a gurd idear"......other says "me tinks you is a genious for not enguneering an engine fixed for a atv".

 

I can promise you that I will also have one but will not get rid of the 03 l.e. !.......Good forum man!

 

Shadyrascal you are correct. They were talking about the thing down in vegas. Usually Russ wouldn't tell people a bad rumor so hopefully it is true.
