Default Dumb Mistake

I'm putting my Raptor motor back togther. I noticed a part laying on the table. It looks like a dowel pin. its around a 1/4" in diameter and 3/8" long with an o-ring on it. It is hollow. I have looked everywhere on the motor and on the manual. To see where it goes. I can't believe I did this. Does anyone have any ideas where it goes. Thanks.

Try the left hand case cover that covers the flywheel.

sounds like gary is right, thats the oil transfer from the left side case (oil pump) to the right hand where it goes up to the crank and top end.

Yeap, it the oil feed between the cases, I almost did the same thing once!!!

But you know the old saying a good mechanic always has left over parts when he is finished.
