Best 690 kit for Raptor
Hello, I'm new to the forum and was woundering which kit I should go with heard a lot about Craycraft from the forums but never heard of them anywhere else. I was thinking about Curtis Sparks but I'm open to any sugestions or info from those of you running a 690 kit. Thank you for all your help!

Located in texas/arkensas, the kit costs $1635 (I think), and it beats the sparks engines from what I've seen and heard. The closest I've come to racing a Sparks engine is ones that are built "like" them, just a different person did the port and polishing not Curtis. I beat them pretty good.

Black welcome. Now if you do some searching you will find just a couple of discussions on this topic and who knows maybe someone will give you an opinion on what is the best. I have a new 686, but it is not from all these top rated builders. I have not even broke it in yet. Good luck.

Do they have a web site? My local shops (all of them) claim they could build me a fast 690 but I was not very impressed with the ones they have built. Seems to me they should be faster, there getting smoked by 330R's. Does this sound right? I only want to build it once "the right way". Would like to beat the other local rappys.

Any of the big time companies can build you a quad faster than your local shop (most likely). This Craycraft engine rips! Check out the HP the Craycraft engines are makin compaired to the other companies. 14mins and I are proof that the Craycraft engines live up the their HP claims! Most companies don't! Check out the Trinity kit too, you might like it. I don't think it lives up to it's HP claims but everyone is happy with it that gets it, so you might want to check it out.

Thank you for the info! I think I will give Craycraft a call tomorrow. What other mods do you recommend with Craycrafts kit that are not provided? I live in a small town, But would like to compete with you big town boy's so any additional tips would be greatly appreciated.
