Banshee rear shock compression adjustment
Hey guys, I just put a used Banshee shock on my Warrior, and am wondering if the compression adjustment valve is working correctly. I haven't had a chance to ride it yet, but I jumped on the rear end a bit while adjusting the compression **** to both extremes. I didn't notice any change at all...it just feels about like my original shock. I expected to have the shock compress very slowly when set to it's hardest setting, and fast when on it's lowest setting.
Is the compression adjustment something that I'm not going to notice until I try jumping, or is something not working right?
I need to know soon, so I can return it if it doesn't work.
Thanks

So should the compression adjustment on the shock be as dramatic as the rebound adjustment? The rebound adjustment seems to work fine, and there is definately *some* resistance to compression... I just expected the ***** to have approximately the same effect, just in opposite directions.

Banshee rear shock compression adjustment
I just went to the Yamaha shop, and tested out a brand new Banshee. It's just like what I was feeling, not much change with me jumping on it.
So I asked the guy there, and he verified that the compression adjustment is for high speed only(ie. washboard).
