Anybody have the PRM skid plate on their Banshee or other ATV? I'm thinking of getting one but first I'd like to hear some feedback from the firing line. It seems to differ from the other manufactures based on the photos and description from PRM. The main difference of the .250 thick 6061T6 aluminum plate is in the area between the sprocket and rotor, it is recessed up to the swingarm. Is this a good design? Does this make the skid plate weaker vs the traditional skid plate which has solid protection from the sprocket to the rotor?

I had a PRM skid on my Warrior.I found it to be as good or better than the others I've used such as DG Baja (terrible), OMF(good).
Currently I'm using an Amadillo from Rock Mtn. & it seems to be holding up & maintaining its adjustment well in all the rocks that I'm unable to avoid, more than I can say for some others.

I have the PRM on my Banshee.Actually I have the whole set.Baja bumper, glide plate, and swingarm skid.

I've smashed it off many rocks with nothing more than a few scratches.Only drawback is that because it also protects the linkage for the shock it sticks down kinda low.I actually hit more rocks but they don't hurt anything.Mine is about 2 years old and has a straight front edge that also catches on things(RR tracks)alot,A couple of friends got them this year and that edge has been bent up so it won't catch.
