Description:
Hey There! I live in Minnesoda. I have been blessed with being able to do a lot of things - and first is having a wonderful family.I work with the DNR as a ATV safety instructor so that youth 12-15 can be certified to ride larger then 90cc quads when supervised by an adult. And, I fly a Pitts Special S1C high performance competition biplane, and I'm a commercial pilot with multi-engine and IFR ratings- and I'm a "D" licensed master skydiver. I've even jumped from a Boeing 727. For several years I've been involved in the Christian mens program "The Man in the Mirror" I'm also a computer engineer for a large university and have worked with numerious computer platforms and fibre optic storage systems.I ride ATV mostly with my wife and friends. We ride locally on the lakes and roads in the winter. During the summer we tour the forests and northern woods of MN, the Black Hills of SD, the Rockies (Montana) and we trailer around MN, IA and WI checking out new riding oppertunities. The Gilbert OHV park is fun once or twice a year. The wife prefers 2up riding on our new Arctic Cat TRV 500. The girls take the 500HO-RSE and we bought a new TRV for friends and family to ride. Our bikes are setup for mountain trail and 'packing' as we try to carry everything we might need for several days in the mountains or camped out in the forests. Safety and planning are the two most important things for us. It can be clear and sunny at the trail head and a blizzard on the mountain before we get back down. Riding around this flat swampland is mostly to test the many modifications and accessories in preperation for the more chanllenging rides in the Rockies. I keep adding more trunks and bags but the inventory lists keeps getting longer at about the same rate. Montana is the most beautiful place to ride ATV. Anywhere you can carry a gun on a quad is fine by me.The ATV's have been a great family sport that is enjoyed by all. The girls all attribute their good auto driving skills to the lessons learned on the go-karts and ATV's.We have a 26 foot Tailgator toy box pulled by our 2002 Turbo diesel F350 4x4 crew cab - it's a great rig! I use my machines for hunting and ice fishing and snowplowing. Not as much trail riding for the sake of riding as much any more but they remain a cornerstone in a lot of activities. We bought a new Honda VTX1800 this summer and I think that might have something to do with the lack of trail riding of late. But its all fun and having fun together is whats its really all about..
