Description:
Well, started riding when I was about 10 years old, then quit because of time and money at about 20. Been out of the scene for 20 years, decided I was getting older and wanted to ride while I was still able to. With a wild hair up my butt, went out and layed out cash for a brand new 2001 KDX-220. Was actually going to buy a KX-500, but it wasnt in stock, but with the trail riding I do, I'm glad I got what I did. Then my daughters wanted to ride (empty nest, but when they stop by, they wanted to ride) so went and layed out cash on a new 2002 TTR-125L, I bought this from a customer of mine. (I'm a Toyota Master Diagnostic Technician by trade) and this customer was bringing his Tundra in for service, I inquired about the Yamaha and bought one. Well, next thing you know, my grandaughters teeth are starting to fall out, like and grandpa who spoils his little princess, we tend to "over value" the teeth, so after collecting about 4, she ask grandpa is she has enough money ot get a quad. Well, it so happens she did, so I went a layed down cash for a little 2001 Sundiro Sunray 50. Well, then I asked the wife if she'd be interesed in riding. She said sure if it has 4 wheels, electric start with reverse. I said to myself, "there' my hunting rig" so I went and "layed down cash" for a 2002 Suzuki Eiger 400 4X4 shifter model. The of course, she needed the 2,500# Warn winch, so I installed that. Also have a 2001 Yamaha WR426F which is road plated for my state and I also have cherry 1973 Honda CT90K4 in orange, its a real cream puff!. Bought the grandson a new 2003 Honda XR50 which he got for Christmas of 02! Then I bought a new 2004 16 ft tandem axle enclosed trailer built by Cargomate to haul all this. So as it stands now, I've spent just over about $25,000 in less than 4 years time and I'm not done yet. Not bad considering I wasnt riding 4 years ago! I'm a life member of the Blue Ribbon Coalition. My hobbies are HAM radio, shooting, reloading, hunting/fishing. NRA Life member. I'm active in politics to preserve my hobbies and way of life. I'm a Toyota Master Diagnostic tech by trade. I'm married, 2 girls, 3 grandkids (1 girl, 8, 2 boys, 6 and 2) and I spoil them rotten. I have since sold the grand daughters quad, she lost interest in it and did buy a 2002 Kawasaki KLR650 dual sport.
