Tks for the ideas. I messed with the chain a bit more and it is no better. I even had it so loose that you could hear it slap the aluminum cover. I then tightened it up enough, and allowed for some slack. I guess it is something the kids are going to have to get used too!!!

Anyone ever fab up a mount for this? I didn't notice the vibration on my Taotao until I started really playing with it. Now that the throttle is turned up and I put a new coil/plug and CDI in it the thing will really rip around but it'll vibrate the fillings out of my teeth.....The kids don't notice/care but, I'd like to make it a bit better if I can.

What i have noticed is that the chain gears are never perfectly round or the holes drilled in the center of the part. So for the most part you will always have vibration since the chain is always getting tight and loose

you stated "engine seems to be swaying back and forth" seems like mounting holes are elongated or broken i think maybe try adding some flat washers to tighten those bolts so the motor is stationary might help with noise but yessir have noticed some of the china quads do vibrate more than others good luck

Just to further my point. I ordered a replacement sprocket for the 110. When i got it the bolt holes were 1/4 off center. When i called supplier he said you would be lucky to find one were the holes were good.. I ended up drilling new holes as the chain would get so tight that it snapped the original chain.
