Hey guys
My Atv started running poorly so I pulled the carb and ran it to the dealer. They rebuilt the carb. When I reinstalled it I started it and it was running at super high idle. I found where I had broken the high dollar choke during the install. I ordered a new choke after several months and just installed it. The fuel tank was drained. Added new fuel and it wouldn't start. Took air filter off and sprayed starting fluid and it fired up again at extremely high idle. Then it died. I kept doing this and it would always die after burning off the fluid at high idle. I checked to make sure the gas valve was open. I don't think I have any air leaks. Any ideas on what's causing the high idle and what seems to be no fuel?

I plan to pull the line and see if fuel runs out. What else should I try for both of these problems. I don't think they are related and perhaps may be two problems...
Can anyone send a pic of the position of the choke? Does that even matter?

Did dealer install an new idle stop screw from carb kit if so they may have turn the screw in to many times which will make an fast idle...crank atv back up an back out Idle stop screw an see if rpm goes down.

 

Also if you broke choke nut an choke is partly engage which also can make an fast idle speed
