What is the best but still safe way for mixing oil to fuel for a 2 stoke 250R? I am using synthetic oil to a 32:1 ratio currently but I heard today that a 40 or even 50:1 ratio is best and still safe. Course the rate is posted on the bike for a 20:1, but I am sure this is not based on using a synthetic brand oil. Any advise/info would be great...tks

 

I'd stick with 32-1 the occational 40-1 shouldn't hurt...if racing it's a whole nother story

just run 40:1

 

I have been mixing my 2 stroke oil at 40-1 for over 25 years.
