200 to 250 ccc quad which one should I buy?
Hi all.
I'm looking to buy a 200/250 cc quad, a new one..
I'm fairly new to quaddding
I've ridden Polaris Phoenix and Trailboss (350) and enjoyed both but I've been advised to get Yamaha blaster, althoigh I've never ridden anything with manual gears yet.
Can you tell me which in your opinion is better and whether there's any thing else I should look at in the same price range as these.
I've been considering some of the chinese impports like Yamoto but I've been put off a bit by the comments that they aren't any good and you can't get them repaired..

what do you want to use the quad for?
if you want a sport quad, the blaster is a good choice, but if you just want to ride trails or go nice and easy, then i think the trailboss, phoenix, yamaha bruin 250 or 350, honda 250ex/recon, or suzuki ozark will all be viable choices for you

It depends on what kind of riding you are doing, like kodman said. If you want a sport/utility i would recommend the Ozark, a friend of mine has one and its quite the peppy little machine. I hopped on it and got used to it right away. I love throwing it around on the trails.

sounds good,
I would lean towards the Blaster or Bruin as I am Yamaha partial......... I have a Blaster that I rode for a few months and loved it. The only place I wish I would have had more power is in the Dunes.......
BTW : there are TONS of upgrades for the blaster and you can prob get one new for around $3000 (if you can find an 05)
