Default battery drains and doesn't seem to charge

I have a problem with the battery draining on my 200cc gio beast and it bogs out in first gear but runs fine in second, third etc......

I'm not an expert on the gear problems so I'll leave that to someone else.

First you need to fix the charging system because if the battery charging system doesn't work your battery will run down quickly. If you leave it that way (run down) the battery sulphates up and will be ruined.

To see if the charging system works use a voltmeter and measure the battery voltage right on the battery terminals while the quad is running at a medium fast RPM. It should read 13.5 to 14.5 volts.
