Well,apparantly I am not the only traitor in this group.LOL Pudjumper (Jay) in MO sold his alky Polaris a few days ago as well. He was one of the main reasons I went to race mod and alky after seeing it run at Little Sahara last year. It is indeed getting pretty dreary around here.[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-sad.gif[/img]

 

I guess I may have to take up drinking to keep the alky polaris alive!!!!!!

 

I hated to see POPO go, but it was time for her to venture new territory. A buddy bought the Pol today and the nice thing about it, I can still take a joy ride every now and then. I've had my eye on the DS for sometime and now perhaps I can put my butt on one. I've kinda got back into the woods riding again and figured a water cooled 4-stroke would be the ticket. From what I've seen DS's Rotax motor responds very well to mods..bolt-on's and internal. I had a blast with the Polaris and if I was going to build another 2-stroke dragger, it would be a Pol. Automatics are hard to beat.
