Honda has some nice motors in their motorcycles ,it's nice to see they put one in their SXS.
Hope the 4x4 ATVs get a upgrade soon.

Too bad they don't tell the price yet on their website. Maybe they're afraid to scare their potential customers lol. I'm guessing either of them cost more than a Pioneer 700 and 500 combined.

I'm wondering how you know how much power it has DGNAZ. I see it gives it here http://www.hondaprokevin.com/2016-ho...1000m5-deluxe/That's twice as much as your 700. I've watched some of your youtube videos, the 700 performs pretty well. The 1000 should be a very high performance machine.

If you look for the carb website, they released the hp numbers for the machine already, and it is rated for 77hp.

I just googled Pioneer 1000 power rating or something like that and that's how I found the link I posted. 77hp might not sound impressive compared to the 100+hp of the other 1000cc machines but with no parasitic power loss due to a cvt, the gap isn't that much. And its a Honda so reliability is a given. Those other hp monsters, reliability is a bit of a question mark.

They de tuned it then ,because the RVT1000R motorcycle is 118hp and is the same 999cc motor.

That's to be expected from Honda but at least they picked an engine that even detuned, still puts out good power. That's quite a bit more power than the Polaris Ranger 900 XP. I think it has about 63 hp.

They probably detuned the motor from the 118hp bike version for longer motor life and 77hp is still plenty.
