My Dad has a 87 TRX350D that ran this morn. It would only start intermitently, so after checking alot of other things, he decided to replace the CDI. It ran this morn with the old CDI, but after I relpaced it, it wouldnt run. Now it wont start with either CDI. We have the wiring diagram, but some of the components are unclear as to their location. Where is the "pulse generater" located? What is the DC Consent? Shouldn't my coil be "HOT" with the key on?
Any help would be appreciated.
Just had the same problem with 92 four trax 350 one wire in the connector for the cdi box was loose in the connector and pushing up i have diagnostics for the ignition sys if you want the send me an email firstname.lastname@example.org
