Don't get me wrong, I love Honda. I own a 250R, 400Ex, and a 250X. Polaris and Canondale are now making race-ready quads, Suzuki's got a liquid cool 400 which is faster than the 400ex, Yamaha's got the Banshee, all I need to say is it's a two stroke. Not to mention Kawisaki, Arctic Cat and the Suzuki deal. All these quads are better than any thing that Honda has going for them, as of now! I would love for Honda to make a TRX 450R, or just go out and shut every manufacture down and come back out with an new race-ready TRX 250R (TWO STROKE)like back in the late 80's! Some times I think the Japanese brands are just Chicken. We want a RACE QUAD not a sport qoud! Make it we will buy it! It our own risk!

i agree, they still make 2 stroke MX bikes, so why not quads. if they just produced the EXACT same 250r as in the 80's everyone would buy it. that says a lot considering it would have 80's technology. i wish we were still in the 80's

Ya thats right when my 250R was just stock it had way more snap and power than my stock 400ex. they say dirtbikes are safer than Quads , thats a bunch of crap! and I can get alot of people to back me up on that. I'm very tempted by the Predator 500. I ride Polaris snowmobiles and they have good engines. If Honda would make that 250R I would buy that.or even a 450R.

I do agree a little bit, on a quad you crash less but much harder! But that dosen't mean they shouldn't make a race quad.

Race Quads should be made just like snowmobiles make Race only sleds. In the Quad world now aftermarket companies own the Race Quads of today. Most aftermarket parts cost way too much. Thats why they should make a race quad.

i agree, but the 400EX works extremely good on the track. the truth is it all depends on the rider.

In 1985 Suzuki came out with the QuadRacer 250. It rulled the market. Six mounths later everyone found out it was the biggest hunk of junk to hit the market. One year later Honda brings in the 250R. Then when you tried to sell the Suzukis you almost had to give them away. Give Honda time. They do one thing at a time and they do it right. I was lucky I bought my 250R new in 1987 and I still have it. It is the most trouble free bike I have ever owned. I had a hard time on what to do 1986R were going for $1800.00 out the door or 1987R were $2050.00 out the door. I wish I still had problems like that.
