When I bought my bike their was a NGK B8ES and Ive read that the stock plug is a BR8ES. My bike is an '86 with a '89 barrel and head. Just wondering which plug I should run. I only ride sand. Thanks.

Actually the stock plug was a BR9ES. 8's Run hotter, and I suggest using them, because they burn cleaner. The R just stands for Resistor. The only time you need to use an R plug, is if you have a radio or something on your trike. The B8ES is what you should run, so stick with it.

We( a few others) have found the R plug to foul easier ...

86 250R, stock motor except pipe and cool head.
That's why my plug fouls so easy. If I leave the choke on for
few seconds longer than needed it'll die and not start, till Ichange plug.
How can I increase the rear suspension travel? Longer swing arm
with aftermarket shock? Or just aftermarket shock? Increased the
front by almost 2", with arms and shocks.
Thanks.

..there are several ways to do this ...
sometimes your decision has alot to do with your
individual preferencs or type of riding..

DS, Recreational riding, fast trail, sand dunes. No racing.
Nobody to catch, nobody closing in.
Just asking questions and looking for options. Who has done what?
What works?
I'd rather have plush suspension than a fast motor.
Thanks.

I personally dont know jack about the suspension on them. My forks, and rear shocks are shot, thats why mine is strictly a drag trike now. I was jumping it with a bad rear shock, and ended up putting a hole in my silencer because it was hitting my brake caliper. So now, instead of spending around $1200 on new forks, and $600 for a good rear shock all for jumping, I just kept her slumpt, and ready for a drag race.
