Hey 250ex owners, i want to put paddles on my wifes 250ex, V paddles(as i dont think it could handle straight paddles), sand shark makes only a 8 paddle on their 20" other brands sell as low as a 6 paddle for three times the price of the sand sharks, my question is not one of what brand, i was just wondering if the 250ex can turn 8 paddles, on the small 20" tire, i think it may get a bit too much bit with 8 paddles, does anyone run a paddle on the back of their 250ex? my wife weighs 118lbs, with slip on pipe.
thanks alot
Rob.

Did the pipe help her on the "topend" or mostly give her more torque in her "bottom end"???

8 is to much for the little 250. I run 6-paddle Skat-Trak Edges, and they do very well. I know you don't want to hear about brands, but I'll tell you to skip the (heavy) sand sharks anyway. We run a K&N and FMF Megamax pipe, and the power gets a nice increase.

Yes, 20". Don't go bigger than 20", because it effectively lowers your gearing (compared to the stock 22" tires), and in the sand you need all the power you can get!!
