Is the big bear the 5 speed 386cc engine.
If it is thats the best engine yamaha makes in my opinion. I put over 10000km with out anything but oil changes. it would also pull down a house.
Only bike i ever saw that could beat this thing in a tug of war is a traxter or quest 650 bomb.
My set up was in a 1996 Kodiak with 386cc engine. In low range man what a beast.

Yeap that is what the BB has for an engine. I love the gearing too. My brother and I were playing in some mud on a trail and it was kind of long and we both went to the other end and he was a old 200s atc and it all off a sudden stalled as soon as he got out. It had no spark and we didnt really have any tools with us so I towed him back threw the mud hole in what I though was 2nd gear but by the time we got out I found it it was actually 3rd lol I think the big bear was made to tow crap lol it sure is fun knowing that you can tow almost anything
