Hi there!

I just picked up a 450 Grizzly. I'm not exactly new to riding but it has been a few years. I am looking for other people to ride with. I'd be happy to join a group too!

Let me know if anyone wants to get together for a ride.

Cool

I'm west of you into KS a few hours. You'd have to come to the Topeka area before you'd find anywhere to ride this way. Here's a Facebook group in your area you can join and get to know some good people; https://www.facebook.com/groups/1421616564733638/

I'd like to see about a 450 Grizzly but even the 2 year old holdover models they are still selling are too high $ for me

I don't mind driving a couple hours. Thanks a million for the facebook link. I've been on a bunch of forums looking for people to ride with. Would really like to get something together for the holiday weekend coming up.
My grizzly is an 07. So 8 years later they start to come down in price lol

Welcome. I just watched a video recently for the new Grizzly 700. Looks like a great machine but $9500 retail for a 2016 model, that's a lot of dough. I've seen pretty good deals locally on leftover Grizzly 550 models, around $6000 for non-eps, $6800 for eps equiped. The new Kodiak 700 looks like a pretty good value too. I think I'll just keep my Grizzly 660 for a few more years though. I paid a whole lot less for it.

I was really torn on weather or not to get a 660. But i got a great deal the 450 with winch plow and after market wheels and tires I COULDN'T say no. The previous owner took really good care this machine. at about 1k miles it shows. All fluids still look new and literally no mud underneath this thing.

I almost bought a new 550 before I found my 660. I just didn't want to spend $6000 for new quad when I found a used one for less than half that. I looked at a 450 as well. Honda Foreman was another I considered. Previous quad was a Rancher 350. But I owned a Grizzly 660 years ago and sold it. I like the extra power and torque of the bigger single cylinder, especially over the Honda Foremans and Rubicons I saw which cost just as much(some more). I just wish the 660 had fuel injection and power steering like the 550 does. It takes a little patience to get it started if its cold and power steering would help make it a little easier to manuever on tight trails. The 550 has slightly less power though. An older 700 would have been ideal but its hard to find one of those for less than $5000 in good shape even used. It sounds like you got a very nice used 450.

Wow man~! you sound like you really know you're stuff. Much more than me at least lol. I feel like I got a pretty good deal. I'll know for sure when get this thing out this weekend. As long as it doesn't break down on me I'll call it good.

Well, I'll admit I'm no expert at fixing them but I've owned a few. I almost bought a used Can-Am Outlander 500 too but decided against it because I felt the price was too high. I went with the Grizzly 660 because it was something I was more familar with more than any other factor. There were a few others I looked at or inquired about but either they weren't as nice as they seemed or someone else beat me to them. The Grizzly 660 just seemed like the best deal.
