Default kawasaki kfx 50

The igniter box just buzzes when I try to start the quad does that mean it is bad

Yes, but I think it is impossible. Are you sure it isn't your starter solenoid, (small black box with four terminals) that is buzzing?

Yes there is the bigger box under the seat that has a 4 wire and a 2 wire plug that goes into it that is the box that is buzzing

Just checked an on line parts book and it shows the same set up as the LT50 Suzuki, this has no battery, electric starter or CDI box, just an exciter coil in the flywheel and an ignition coil. What year is yours?

I tried changing out the ignition coil the KFX is a 2007 i can't get it to kick start either that's why i was thinking igniter box over a starter thanks for your help
