Default Do I Need to Rejet?

I had my Banshee jetted for running my airbox without a snorkel, But I recently purchased a K&N air filter and an outerwear to replace the stock lid. I will no longer have a lid, instead the outerwear fits over the box allowing air through. I was wondering if it is necessary to rejet it for this modification. Thanks in advance.

as always its best to do a plug chop, but if i were you, go up a couple numbers on the main jet to be safe.

Running lean can toast your engine! At the very least, do a plug check.

I have seen those things, does anyone know if they are any good? I heard those airbox lid replacements caused it to lose HP. Does it get more airflow than a lid?

Yep. Plug chop and re-jet.
Might need to adjust the needle too.......

Yes, if you change one thing it effects everything else. Make the change and see how it runs. If it runs bad you definately need to do some carb work. If it runs good still check your plug to see if you are lean. If so, re-jet. Remember, your quad can be slightly lean and still seem to run pretty good, at least up to the point that it cooks itself.
