2000 Polaris Sportsman 335 Engine swap
#51
Hello..Kevin did u put the recommended 2 qts of oil in ur tank or just fill up to full line? I just did a similar swap in my 335 sportsman with a 425 magnum engine. After scraping the oil cooler and putting the recommended 2 quarts in I now have an oil level 2-3 inches over my full line. Seems to me without the extra capacity of the oil cooler in the loop this may be normal...anyone's input appreciated!

Rooster,
I cant remember! I know mine is to the full line, but I honestly cant remember if I used all 2 quarts. I suppose its possible that they have different dip sticks for the 335. When I have more time I can see if the part numbers are different.
As an update, only thing I have left on the wheeler to do it the carb rebuild kit. Over the winter I replaced some bushings, greased all 136 grease ports, and changed the oil, she still runs like a champ!
