hard shifting
#2
Creeping, hard shifting go hand in hand. Usually it's the front clutch one way bearing that needs the fiber and metal washers replaced.A lot of times if the washers are worn, the belt can walk over and touch the inner sheath of the drive clutch. This just puts pressure on the driven clutch, causes creeping in gear and hard shifting.Worn belts, clutches out of alignment can cause similar problems or add to it.Look at these posts on the the same thing, but on a Sportsman 500. https://atvconnection.com/forums/pol...-creeping.html Plus here's the parts mainly responsible for creeping plus possibly a worn belt.
