Default Grizzly 450 and powertip

Hey everyone. I'm new to this site. I've had my Grizzly 450 for about 6 months now and i would like to put a powertip on it. But my concern is that it will run lean. I do not wanna have to re jet and use more fuel and all that. Thanks

Get yourself a power tip and every time you start it you"ll grin from ear to ear! It want make you run lean with only that. I had one one my 450 and have one on my 700 also with never a problem. It's a must have item. Plus you dont have to spend $400 to get her to sound mean. It's not louder but more deeper, meaner sound.

Oh ok. It doesn't allow much more air flow then does it? Does it improve power?

I dont think that they could improve the power much due to the fact that the factory exhaust is still there and you just changed the diameter of the hole on the end of it.

Powertip is another word for affordable smiles!!! It really does the same job in my opinion as a pipe on these smaller "Big Bore" bikes.

I put a Big Gun pipe on my last 400 Kodiak and I'll tell ya my $30 Powertip has done the same for my 450 Kodiak as the $400 pipe did on the 400.

Buy it... you won't regret it. It looks and sounds great. It really sounds great!!!

There is no need to re-jet. So don't waste your money. The only upgrade i've done to mine engine wise... under the educated advise of ctateusa1 was the "Blue Spring" EPI clutch kit. It's wheelie poppin' fun for this G.I. now.

No pipe you buy or jet kit you put in will turn the 450 into a rocket but I think the Powertip is definatly worth the money spent and the money saved.
