Cobra 200cc re wire
#2
If it is a "universal" harness it may not be completely compatible with your machine. Why did you change it anyway? It is almost always easier to find and fix a problem than to fit a new harness, and you can introduce new faults. Someone on here was writing that they had fitted several Honda Cub clone harnesses with stators and found they all had the wrong trigger coil to flywheel air gap.

Well when I got the quad it was all melted the harness and I'm redoing it up nice and so I changed it out and now no spark but I changed out everything like normal but quad has some extra accessories like a cooling fan so I don't know what I have wired ip

So it is a "universal" harness. Some come with new stators, switchgear etc, but if it doesn't come with everything the wires you connect it to have to be the right ones. The type of diagram which comes with the harness is a bit vague as to how it should connect to your existing components. There are bare bones diagrams on here which show how a simple system should be wired, if you can find one, it may help. There is the added problem that the new stuff is sometimes faulty.
