did you do a spark plug test? if there is no spark than i would say you have a loose/bad connection somewhere or your ignition coil or CDI might be shot.

it turns over good enough to crank, guys at the atv shop here says that cdi"s dont go out that often. some suggested that it might have jumped time. the people i got it from was using 2 wires to cross it out to start it could that have fried the cdi i also pulled the plug and could see no fire after dark

it's possible that the timing could have jumped, but the only way that would happen is if your cam timing chain is streched to that point. I don't think that is your problem. i think that the guy who had it last from doing that cross with the 2 wires probably fried your CDI. but before that is certian check your fuse and make sure it's not blown. if it is replace it and see if it starts. if it's not blown then i would look towards your CDI. also what condition is the stator in? is it new or used?

it was a used one , but i took it to my local dealer and had it checked.the only fuse i found was the one that operates the key switch. is there another on in another location. if so could you help me locate it. i also have 2 like relay boxes bycould they have a effect

no that's the only fuse. those boxes are the relays, one is the neutral switch relay, and the other one is the starter relay i think and the third one is for the reverse switch. i have a service book for your year i can look it up tomorrow if you want to be sure. your starter relay could be bad if your cyloniod is bad. but i don't think that's your problem. i think you have either a bad ignition coil or a bad CDI. if you have an OHM meter you can test them with that. if not you buy one at any parts store for like 20 bucks. basically what that does is tells you if you have continuity through what you are testing. CDI for example: if you test it with the OHM meter and it shows 0 continuity than it's shot and you need a new one.

what did they say about your stator after they tested it? was it good? and how long ago did you have it tested?

i took a closer look at the plugs on that stator and found that on of the pins on the 4 plug connection is not there, would that make a diff. im thinking duh, but i might be wrong. if it does make a diff is there anyone on here that has a stator for a 95 warrior please help if you can

that's more than likely your problem i think. i would get a NEW stator not used. i say this because if you get a used one you don't know if your going to run into the same problem all over again.
