I am planning on getting the 07 raptor 700 se and i had a few questions about it, so any people out there who own one can you please answer them??
1) Does the clutch require a lot of maintenance or does it break down easily?
2) Because i have never had a bike with chain drive, does the chain on the raptor break down often? Is it a hassle to change?
3) How is its top speed?
4) Because i have never driven a manual bike before is changing gear a hassle when driving around town or on the trails.
Please help me by answering these questions because i need to decide on a new bike soon! Thanks.

they have no problems.
my clutch needed adjestment after riding for almost an hour useing it a ton. but that was just 1 time and the only reason it happend was becuase i was cruzing the hill at glamis at night time with no paddles in heavy traffic so was having to clutch the crap out of it.

I had a '06 700R put over 4,000 miles on with out any trouble and the guy that bought it from me still hasn't had a single problem with it, I currently have the '07 SE with over 3,000 miles and the only thing that I had go wrong was the weld on the header cracked but it wasn't stock so it wasn't a raptor thing. I think thay are great bikes

Shouldn't have any problems, except maybe the clutch if your not used to a manual.

Got a question, where do you live at that you get to ride around town?
