Default Ignition box off an older Yamaha warrior onto a 04 Wolvarin

I have a 2004 wolvarine that was wrecked a few years back and im trying to get it back up and running the old ignition box on the handle bars was wiped off and destroyed in the roll over and my brother gave me the one off his old (92 i think) warrior the boxs are the same how ever they plugs are diffrent i tryed to match them up when i switched the 2 plugs at the end and found out i did it wrong when i turn on the lights it tryed to start and when i push the start butten the lights come on lol any ways i was wondering if any one knew where i can get a diogram of a 2004 wolverine ignition switch box and how the wires going into the 2 plugs are suppose to be if any one could i would appreciate it thank you.

Ok figurered out the wiring how ever only way to get it to start is to put it in nutral hit start and shift it into 1st gear only when i shift will it start and at the same time will only stay running if i hold the start button down. as soon as i let off it cuts out and dies........any ideas ?

have you checked to see if you have constant power to your coil? or just when you hit the start button?
could be the problem. And buying a newone proabably isn't going to help if he cut the wires as "I" would have done...lol
