From what I've seen they are great little quads. Getting great reviews. My only concern would be if or how fast it will be out grown. Way to small for myself but, great starter for younger people. I wanted one for my lady but, didn't want to spend quite that much.

I would just kick it a nickel and get the Raptor 350 unless they are offering up significant deals on the 250. If you're buying new, for the little bit extra you will get a bigger motor, a six speed gearbox, and reverse. Just my .02 tho.

IMO the only con is no reverse other than that it rules the 250 quad class! Now depending on your age and weight the 250 class is not intended for adults in that case step up to a 350 or 400 class quad.

I got my Raptor 250 when I was 12. It was the right thing for me, I had just moved up from a 90. I am 15 now, and I am ready for a 450. But I guess it just depends on your experience level. Honestly, I will always say get a 250 over a 350. Reason being, the 250 has better suspension, frame, and components. It weighs significantly less, and has good power. I cant say enough good things about the 250.

well thats true, because the only con on the raptor 250 is reverse and top speed over the raptor 350 and there is alot of cons about the raptor 350. its better than the raptor 350 in terms of learning and learning the clutch for the first time. Well.....thank you for all of your comments, i hope i get a raptor 250 for christmas.

I owned my raptor 250 for 3 years, and I never once experienced a mechanical problem where the 4 wheeler was at fault. Yeah, a few things broke here and there, but they were all a result of me rolling it a few times.
