Default Grizzly 660 Rear wheel bearings

Hi Everyone.

The rear wheel bearings in my 660 are completely shot and need replacing.

I have taken them out and all ready to go buying new ones but this is where I am confused.

I think my 660 is one of the very first UK model but cannot confirm as the vin is well rusty. When I look on the Yamaha parts catalogue or search via eBay all the bearing shown seem to be different to what I have.

From looking they all seem to be a complete bearing that just get pressed in where mine are in two parts and the ball themselves acutally run on the inside of the knuckle or hub, and then the bit that spins on the shaft pushes into this.

Is this just the picture being used or are there different type of bearing for the 660?? If so could anyone help with a part number so I can track some down.

Any help appreciated

Thanks

In the U.S., only the 2002 660 had a rear wheel bearing setup like what you describe...2 individual bearings on each side.

The 2003 and later models use the single wide bearing on each side.
