Default Big bear swing arm boot issues

Hey guys. My big bear is running good, but I have an issue I need to address before I do much riding with it. The swing arm rubber boot that the driveshaft runs through will not tighten up good on the engine side. It's tight on the swing arm, but it seems like its too big by a decent bit on the engine side. Basically I can hardly loosen the clamp enough to get it to fit the boot, then when I try to tighten it, it folds over and slips out of the clamp. It was loose when I got the ATV so I don't know if someone put the wrong boot on it at one time or what?

I guess I'll buy a new rubber boot for it, but just wanted to make sure I wasn't just doing something wrong trying to get it put on. I just want to get it fixed so that it's water tight and I dont have to worry about it while I'm riding this summer.
