Default 02 Warrior stumbling off idle..

So the quad ran well over the winter, cleaned it up and put it away for a couple of months.

Well it started fine the other day but now will not run past idle. If you hold the throttle still, its got a huge stumble. It doesn't quit, just acts like it's bouncing off a rev limiter.

This is just off of idle, not full throttle or anything.... I must of took the carb off half a dozen time just to make sure everything is clean but I'm starting to think it's something else...

Trying to get this thing running well for a trip to Vermont for the 4th of July weekend, hands are dirty right now!!

No didn't think of changing the plug, probably should've been the first thing I did.

How about the parking brake sensor at the clutch perch? If that is bad it will activate the rev limiter all the time. You can bypass it, is what most people do.

Raptor450,

Bingo! My buddy showed up and that's the first thing he went for. I was working on the rear caliper and disconnected the parking brake....enough said...

yep that's a common warrior thing, it usually has people scrambling through their carburetors endlessly

I'd go with the latter, on yfm350.com it would be the first thing to come up

I had that problem too years ago when one my second warrior. Couldn't figure it out for nothin, finally gave up and traded it for a kodiak 400 that needed clutch work. I found out a few days later that the problem was that sensor on the parking brake.... *FACEPALM*!!!!!!!!!!!!!! haha.

Glad to see yea fixed it!
