What’s in a name?

In what can only be described as a first, even for us.. It turns out that consumers have been none too thrilled with the Arctic Cat brand being renamed Textron when it became absorbed into the corporate giant.

Off-Road enthusiasts spoke and they listened! The legendary Arctic Cat brand name will return to off-road in 2019.

Arctic Cat off-road vehicles will feature all the fun and performance the brand is known for, complemented with the innovative prowess of Textron. The brand will continue to build class-leading vehicles such as Wildcat XX and Prowler Pro in Thief River Falls, Minn.

Some argue that brand names are just stickers but we’d say this is living proof that brands have unique identities forever associated with them. And as a bonus that the squeaky wheel, it seems, truly receives the oil.
