Starting July 9th of this year, Wiseco Performance Products will roll out a newly created Minimum Advertised Price (MAP) Policy for its Powersports products.

What this means to consumers is less swing in advertised pricing from one retailer to the next. Minimum Advertised Price is an agreement between suppliers and retailers stipulating the lowest price an item can be advertised. Retailers can still go higher if they so choose, but MAP makes a hard deck they can’t go below.

Wiseco says the reason for the change is their commitment to maintaining a fair and level playing field against their competition and the change will apply to both traditional as well as online retailers.
