We all know their logo and have used their products at one time or another but did you know Energizer was founded back in 1896 as the American Electrical Novelty & Manufacturing Company.

While they’re most known for their batteries, the company has made some interesting acquisitions throughout the years: Schick razors and blades, Edge Shave Gel, Playtex Products to mention a few. So much so that in 2015, they separated that side of the business into a new company called Edgewell Personal Care.

What you may not know, however, is that they make their well-reputed batteries for our unique segment of the world. Their ETX24HL, for example, delivers Absorbent Glass Mat (AGM) technology helps make them stronger, vibration-resistant and spill-proof. As a bonus, the technology enables the battery to be repeatedly charged and discharged without affecting performance.
