Kazuma Falcon Help
#31
My stock exhaust broke at the welding on the silencer on my Kazuma mini falcon 90cc. I thought I could replace it with a stock one, or.....hey how about a FMF? I ground the welds off the head pipe, and repainted it with high heat rust-oleaum. The slip on doesn't "slip on", the mid pipe is the same diameter as the head pipe. I used a Banshee exhaust clamp and had to rig up a bracket to attach the silencer to the frame. I already had a K&N air filter directly on the carb.
Wow what a difference! Almost does a wheelie with me on it. I don't think I will have to re-jet it as it is running great, I'll check the plug after a ride though.

If you could send me a copy of what you have foir tuning on the 250 I would really appreciate it. I have two 250s and one 50 and have been having a little problem with one of them (Falcon 250) lately (will not idle and is very hard to start). Once I get it running it runs OK as long as I keep feathering the throttle. I have taken the carb apart and cleaned every peice and followed the manual for adjustments. but that did not help. I had a problem with my sons 50 and several of the readers here gave me some great tips. Please send me anything you have. My email is Dr_dorman_jr@yahoo.com.

Mine started to do the same thing.I found out it is the manifold between the carb and the head.It gets cracked which causes air to bypass the carb.It causes a lean condtion .This acts up worse when cold because of the lack of extra fuel enrichment given by the choke. You can get a new one from a honda dealership. The motor is a clone of the honda helix scooter engine.Cost between 30-40 dollars. Then suport the front of the carb to take the stress of weight of the rubber intake.

Anyone know what size carbs come on these stock? I have a high flow exhaust coming and figure I shall replace the carb while I am at it. Also if anyone knows the dimensions of the carb offhand, that would be cool as well.
Thanks,

KAZUME 250 FALCON Inlet Manifold Problem
I had to replace the inlet manifold on my son's Falcon 250 as it was cracked and actually shredded. The cause......On acceleration from a standstill the suspension contracts, causing the carb to press against the electronic module mounted just above. This forse is enough to actually bend the rubber inlet manifold. As the Quad picks up speed the forse gets less and the card would move away from the electronic module....??
The repair guy suggested the problem is with the chain tensioner , at first I could agree as on acceleration the chain would make a clucking noise and actually sound if it slips on the sprocket or chain tensioner...
After replacing the tensioner spring it is still doing the same.
Has anybody experienced the same problem or any advice please?

Hi Guys,
Just picked up a used Kazuma Falcon 250 yesterday, and am looking for a new set of rear tires, the current ones are 19-9.50-8 Can someone help me out in picking a tire? I do not understand what the numbers mean either, so if someone can explain that it would be greatly appreciated.

Can you please send me a copy of the manual you made. I have a Kazuma Dingo 250, but the Falcon 250 one should give me some ideas. Thanks! shane2005@***.net
