I wish I had new about raceway atvs before I delt with these idiots. I will try to give short explanation. We decided to get a small cheap atv for our girls birthday. I looked on the net looking for the best deals and ran across http://localpocketbikes.com/ and so we decided to order a Sunl 50cc xtm from them.

We received the atv just in time for her birthday and I put the wheels on and checked everything out. I tried to start and guess what it would turn over but would not start. I thought at first maybe something minor. I removed the spark plug I was getting good fire. I called their lame Tech support. I explained what I have checked so far to the mechanic and he said it sounds like a safety is holding it out and which I then explained again that I was getting fire which should rule out safety switches not being made up. I think he did not understand that the safety switches keep the ignition from firing. Then he said it might be the carb jets clogged. I realized at this point I seemed to know more about trouble shooting this thing than he did which was their only mechanic.

I removed the carburator several times and cleaned then after sevral hours I determined that I was getting gas and fire and carb and ignition was working correctly. I then decided to bring out the starter fluid guess what still would not start then I realized it was a engine problem. I had probably spent about 8 hours on this thing already and realized that this thing was not going to work for her birthday also the gas tank leaks and broken headlight and taillight.

We called local pocket bikes back and from this point on no apollogies and no way to leave messages and just got the response he will call you back then they would put you on hold and just wait for you to hang up. A few days later after playing these games we got a response and that was to take it to someone in our state that can repair and they would pay for it and they would locate the place we need to take it to and call us back. We received no call from them after waiting a day so we called them again and we had to take it to a place about 60 miles one way. The mecahnic took a quick look at it with me and deternined it was a motor problem and he had extra parts on the shelf. I was thinking at this point that once its repaired the headache is over and our girl can use here atv a week after her birthday. Well the mechanic replaced gas tank and installed new motor and it was ready the next day but were seeking their payment. I guess you know what happens next local pocket bikes are not wanting to pay excuse after excuse. The repair bill was $205.00 which seemed very reasonable for what was done local pocket bikes then said for us to go ahead and pay for it and he would overnite check to us. I figured I may not receive the check but its a week after our girls birthday and she wants to ride her new toy. Well guess what no check received. We cancelled our credit card payment and will just wait and see what happens from here.

I just wanted to put the word out sounds like everybody happy with Raceway again stay away from these guys

if you paid localpocketbikes by credit card, you can dispute it with the credit card company. i would.

 

Thanks, We are doing that already just wanted to let people know not to deal with these people at local pocket bikes.com If we get it for $205.00 still would not be worth the headache dealing with these people.

They are well known for selling the cheapest of Chinese junk and then stiffing people on the warranties and parts.
SUNL and Scootertown both have UNSATISFACTORY ratings with the BBB.

Scooter Town, Local Pocket Bikes, and Right Way Atv are all the same. They are all owned by the same person.

 

Yepper and all 3 of the above are rated unsatisfactory by the Dallas BBB.

And my favorite...."nope no parts.....you can get parts from the Honda dealer".

Why does SUNL keep this guy as a dealer?

 

these guys sound a lot like buying from a dealer in post falls idaho. selling Joyner branded atv's. I purchased two of these this last spring rode them four times all four of which over heated and boiled over the radiator. after trying numerouse times to call the sales person and sending him e-mails with no response. now its hunting season and looks like im walking in the woods again. boy am i pissed.

 

I bought my Falcon110 from H&S motorsports in Carson City and they had my atv for 6 months without repair. took to court, judge made him fix and repair the atv by the end of the day. Never ran right, removed the cylinder head and found the piston and shoulder pin were trash. I complained to Kazuma and they had so many complaints against them that Kazuma pulled their distributorship. H&S Motors has now shut the doors and believed to have done under.: )
