Pics of my 04 Yamoto 150
This was my wifes first quad and how I found the atvconnection. This has had a few mods over the years...1.5" wheel spacers for the front end really softened the front suspension. Rear shock came off of a 84 CR80, rear shock had 9/16" of travel stock...now its got about 4".. oh and 1" spacers on the rear wheels. Its running a carb from a Jetmoto 150(stock jets from a Jetmoto 200 carb) and a aftermarket CDI box...
The Carb and CDI came after my wife stopped riding it and I gave it to my oldest son to abuse...uh i mean ride... It isnt pretty but is still a lot of fun and is pretty much a daily driver down at the shop...battery has been dead for a long time but luckily it fires up on the 1st or 2nd kick.

after our ride today i noticed my 150 yomoto had two bolt paterns sm on front and big on the rears, so the 18 - 9.05x 8 came off and the rears off the 250t's went on 22 -10x 10's. i think it realy looked mean as 150's go.
best part though is before it maxed out at 33mph and sounded like it was red lined ready to blow, but with the big tires it maxed out at 38mph and sounded like she had a few more rpm's left

Have you looked into getting different sprockets for your 150 and or 250 our250t? you can get the same result as changing the tire size...

90cc Mini Utility
This little quad is proof that kids quads from China are a great bang for the buck!! Its been abused by countless adults, no one weighing under 200 lbs... Nothing has broken on the little quad, but a few adults have walked away from it in pain...The plastic is pretty abused but that happens when you roll a quad( more than a few times by the way)
When I first got it I looped it out going up a little hill...i made a plate to move the handle bars forward the next day...Its still easy for a adult to loop out but if you lean forward a bit its no problem...
Great mini ute story....my oldest son hangs out at my shop a lot with his friends...they have all crashed the minu ute before...They have a new guy with them who wants to ride it...they try to discourage him but he begs....guy gets on rides about 20', turns around and wheelies...falls off the back and the quad slams into the side of his car door..

2006 Jetmoto 125/140
Stock this quad sounded like a generator and 3rd gear was almost useless..now its got a Aftermarket carb/filter and the stainless pipe/muffler combo Jetmoto sells. It also has a 140cc kit on it that Jetmoto sells too... It doesnt sound like a generator anymore and it pulls 3rd gear much easier.
Oh yah...the pink plastic was also not stock....think it was black stock..
Also added aluminum master cyl covers, a aluminum handlebar clamp and a aluminum throttle cover...these mods didnt make it faster but it looks a little cooler.

2006 Jetmoto 200
My wifes 2nd quad....got this from John at Raceway to make a set of assy plans for him and Jetmoto. This was the quad I thought I was buying when I got the Yamoto...Decent suspension.. wheelies in 1st and 2nd gear. Handles ok at speed and has decent power too.. Only mod Ive done to this one is aluminum foot pegs (prototype of the ones Jetmoto now sells). Aluminum cover and handle bar mount and the pink plastic...think it was red stock..If you look real close youll notice my wife likes a twist throttle on her quad...All those years on dirt bikes is more than likely the reason...she says a thumb throttle hurts her hand more than a twist throttle.
Included a pic of the most annoying thing about the early Jetmotos...Rust!! The new ones have a better paint than the '06 models did...The rust makes the quad look older than it is IMO...gonna need to repaint the a arms soon.

the honda is a 03 when i got in spring it had 100 miles on it, original oil and all, i got it free not the way i would of liked to (inherited) my father inlaw passed. he bought it new in 03 took it on one ride and it sat, mother inlaw got sick then he got sick and passed.
i took 350 for the redcat, im sure i could of held out for a little more but the honda needs a wheel kit! the kid wants some bling rims and some mudder tires.

i know but as 150's go with the large tires , we'll just say it looked cooler.
once i find out what is wrong and if he can fix it, i think i'll try and find some so he can just do the install.. or i just might have to suck up to the wife for another used 400ex. or she'll say just buy a new one..........
after you sell your buick you don't drive
