"chinese hunka junk". Why did you buy it then? Sounds like we would waste our time helping already. Sell it, buy a Honda and let us enjoy wrenching our machines that we know that we bought and want to learn from/with and ENJOY. Learning makes have the fun. Your attitude is already down and done with it.

look on the bottom of the cylinder on the left or right side and it will tell the engine size......

It looks like the typical 200/250 cc engine..Like NewportHillClimber said look on the base of the cylinder for the engine size...The VIN will have a code for the mfgr in it..

im soory sounding negative,

i enjoy wrenching as much as the next guy. i was just feeling kinda down about the luck that i have had. Im trying to get by with getting these cheap needing work atvs for me and my little boy, not minding the work just frustrated on that i have never worked on them at all really.

i blindingly bought a dinli 50cc for 50 bucks was in fair looking shape with new tires but the engine was froze. i had not done my research on the dinlis
and now is going to cost me around 400-450 when said and done. I feel pretty good about the dinli because of the quality that i have heard that it is, and look forward to seeing him riding it. I also am in this prediciment cause i cannot easily come up with the full price of another all at one time also trying to get by cheap

i wrote this add after driving 2+ hours to get this atv then riding in the back of the minivan with the bike cause thats how we had to pick it up, Me the wife and little guy. Not hearing it run and the guy new nothing about it.

the bike looks really rough and has alot of needed attention.

happy though i got it running very easily the next day.
-found out that it is pretty popular and parts available
something that the dinli was giving me fits with!!!

-now im down to one problem that i was most worried about it when i picked it up. The clutch is rigged not sure if it is working at all.

-first test drive i shift to first and killed it(its been a while) now it is stuck in first gear

????? is it the clutch or the gears?????????

well long enough
thanks to all you guys for your comments

Dont sweat it..I thought you were being honest.

Only thing I know to do is rock the machine back and forth while trying to shift it out of gear.. If that doesnt work you will need to start by pulling the clutch cover off and checking the shuft drum and its actuators.. If that doesnt get it the cases will need to be split.

Hey, at least from the pictures, you got a good deal. There are at least 100 bucks of parts in that thing. As to getting it running down the road, I'd leave that to others but it can start to add up very fast to get road worthy. But it sounds like you have already been down that road before.
