Default Taotao 110cc Speed/Throttle Limiter

Hello all,
I need some assistance with my 110cc Taotao speed limiter. I have turned the set screw all the way down on the throttle but the quad still goes too fast for my son. I have also fiddled with the adjustment screw on the carb to turn the idle down. I want to turn it down to the 5 mph minimum until my son gets used to it. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

Welcome to the forum Allipeguh!

You might try longer screw for the throttle limiter.. most of the ones Ive seen dont limit the throttle as much as they could.

Thanks mywifesquad, that fix worked! I guess I was overthinking that something else had to be done!
