Default Tire Size Help for Jetmoto 200cc

Hello everyone, I picked up a set of front and back wheels from Jetmoto for my 200cc Jetmoto ATV. The fronts are 10x5 and the rears are 10x8. The question is, what tire size would you folks recommend. I dont know anything about tire sizes for quads. I don't think the stock ones that came with the quad are going to fit. Any decent recommendations would be very helpful. Once I have the size I can start looking for a brand and thread pattern. Thanks

Wow, so they are both 10" diameter wheels? You should be able to throw just about any 21"x7"x(10"this is the number you need to fit the rim) tire on the front. Finding 10" rears will be tougher but they are out there. When buying tires, the first number(i.e 21) is the overall tire diameter. The second number(7") is the tire width. The last number is the rim size needed(10") The tires will be wider than the rim, so a 10 or even 11" wide one should fit fine on your rears. As for height, stick with stock if you were happy with the handling and ride height. Going to taller tires will get you more ground clearance, shorter tires better handling but you will get hung up a lot more on ruts/rocks/etc. It is often best to stay with the same manufacturer for front and rear tires, as a 21" tall tire to some is closer to a 20" or even 22" tire for others. Mixing and matching COULD throw the front to rear height off a bit.
