Default Shifter parts reassembly 110CC - PICS

Hi there I have a 110 CC semi-automatic 3 speed with reverse.

I had to take off the clutch side cover for a problem that has been fixed but am having difficulty with reassembly.

image_017 - simply the open case

image_018 - the arm that goes onto the end of the shifter shaft (can be seen on the bottom of the case there sticking out a bit).

image_019 - the case cover so you can see that little triangle thing (please excuse my lack of proper terminology)

The problem: In what position do I attach the triangle plate over the clutch and the little arm that is in my hand?

I tried installing both so that the nipple on the arm fits into the large V-opening on the triangle thing but that didn't work as once I put the cover back on the shifter wouldn't move. The shifter moves fine with the cover off.

Please excuse the lack of proper terminology as I am learning at this time.

Thanks
~Steve

Default Clutch

It looks like the parts I am referring to in the pictures (triangle thing and small arm) are part of a clutch kit. How is this supposed to go back together because if I put the arm back on into the slot on that small plate and then put the case back on - the shifter will not move.

Does anyone know what these are supposed to do or what they are called?

Welcome to the forum sfisches!

The arm goes onto the shift shaft. It should be positioned so it makes a straight line between the shift shaft, and the center of the clutch basket. One end goes on the shaft and the other end goes in the notch in the triangle plate.
