CMS Stinger 110cc Deluxe
Has anyone heard of this mid size quad? I am thinking of purchasing it for my eight year old who has been riding a 50cc quad since he was four.:conf used:

My daughter has the same style quad, just 2 years older. 2008 model.
The quads come with the semi-clutch automatics. This means there is Forward, Neutral, and Reverse. The semi-clutch means if you are in Forward position and depress the selector lever (left side kick lever) you will engage the clutch and be back in Neutral. You can feather the clutch up hills and pop the clutch this way.
These quads have longer A-arms and better front shocks so they handle better in the Chinese 110 class.
You can upgrade the CDI/Coil to a no-rev limiter and get this quad to do 33mph instead of the 28mph that they average with a 90lbs kid on them.
They also come with slightly narrower tires in the rear. These are on 8" rims and can be upgraded for stability and traction, but kids like to break the rears loose.
These also come with 19mm carbs. A 22mm carb upgrade along with the CDI combo and opening the rear exhaust can get the quad near a top speed of 40mph. The advertised 35mph is subjective. 28-29mph is more of an average.
I think these quads have come a long way since the single A-arms models. The motors are stronger, the gearing is tighter, and the wheel stance is wider/safer.
If you can get a 125cc in this size I think you will be a bit happier as it will have much more climbing power than the 110cc and have a better top end.
This quad is 10x's the quad of the 110cc and is well worth the additional $300.00
You won't feel the need to upgrade. It also has better 4 wheel disc brakes and an even wider stance for safety.

125cc
I really like the gas shocks. I know how hard the springs are on the other Chinese ATVs. Are the shocks adjustable for the weight of the rider? We ride the power lines that are loaded with rocks and ruts, is the clearance an issue? Looks awesome, wish it had head lights, we come home at dusk some times. Do you have any videos of this thing in action, I am realy interested!
