hi my name is Joey. I have a Roketa 250cc First i had no spark fixed that put gas in the tank. then i notice the gas line had a crack so i replace that so i know the **** pit is not pluged. so i tryed starting it wont start it trys but no running. so i checked around and found that the boot from the head to the carb was crack so i replaced that hoping that will fix the problem still nothing. so i pulled the carb off tooked the bowl off and cleaned the main jets and the small jet. still i have no go what else should i check? when i had the bowl off i had a extra gas line so i blew threw it with the bowl off and i press up and down on the float level i can hear air coming out and then stop when i press up on the float so i know it shouldn't be clogged up from the gas pit **** to the bowl it should be getting gas right? so i put it back together and i have no luck. can anybody help me with this problem. the quad was sitting for 4yrs they said had no spark well i fixed that and heres where i'm at. thank you for your time any help will be nice

 

sat for 4 yrs? wow. there should be a bowl drain. please clean the carb/jets one more time. make sure you can see daylight through the jets' orifices. that's critical. install carb and open pet **** valve. let it sit a couple of minutes, then open the bowl drain to see if fuel comes out. crank it. if you got fire, it ought to go. if it don't, check your spark plug for wetness of gasoline to see if it is actually getting gas up to the cylinder. if not, holler back at us.

You are gunked up. I had one sit for 2 years and had to run gas cleaner with clean gas through it. Then to get it to start I had to pull the air cleaner to get the right mix, not enough fuel was making iand it was running very lean.

At least you have spark...
